Dear brothers and sisters,
This is our very first News Letter. I hope we will keep you updated with information patterning to this ministry. We will cover topics of study, our itinerary and information on the spread of God's word in other areas. Our planet is now in a state of dysfunction, or if you please, there is a lot of uncertainty in people's minds. As people we tend to look for a place of refuge when we know no way. Our salvation is only in Jesus; he is our refuge and strength. Luke 21:25-28 says: "There shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And they shall see the son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." We are not far from this time and events. We need to pray more than play. We need to spread the word of God while we still have time. Time is of the essence. Our work is progressive and the methods used now for spreading the word are different from the methods used in the past. We are evangelizing a world which is pluralistic in culture, but the content of the gospel is always the same. Pluralism does not mean a change in the message in order to fit the particular religious taste or mood of the culture. The biblical message does not need to be changed or altered. It should be read and preached as our creator intended. We will also need to be bold and frank without fear or favor. Today, moral decisions, ethical dilemmas, lifestyle options are in many ways like a modern supermarket. We are given numerous options, a plethora of choices. The cultures no longer hands down an accepted set of rules for how to live, nor does it provide a single standard for judging right and wrong. As individuals we are now faced with a serious decision to make and that is to choose to be on Christ's side. "Singleness is forever", to be married does not make one a double person, you are still an individual; and as an individual you will meet Christ. As married partners you must encourage and support each other to meet Christ. Every weekend we are blessed as we study different Bible topics. The Lord opened us a comfortable place for our seminars and we have covered a lot of ground. If you need to attend, please contact us for details. Most of the studied topics we will put them up for your edification. We will also learn what others will regard as the "Mystery" of God that should not be studied. Let us hear what Jesus said: Matthew13: 11 "He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given". God wants to reveal Himself to us through His word. Jesus said: John 16:12 " I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye can not bear them now. Howbeit when he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:" Truth is not for surface readers. The problem is we sometimes hear what we think the Bible is saying, not what it is saying. As we study what God is saying to us, lets be prepared for a paradigm shift. The Bible is its own expositor. Verses will explain other verses. The Bible does not need a helper or long established beliefs. 'Religions are laying on the surface of the sea, for they are moved by different kinds of winds; but truth is at the bottom of the sea, it is not moved'. We need to dig deeper. We will be blessed as we share the word of the Lord spoken to us. All your questions or comments are accepted and will be attended to as soon as they are received.
