I have about seven different Bible versions. As I was reading and comparing the verses I noticed many faults in the new versions. You will notice many verses were either deleted or many had their meanings changed from what was originally intended. As you read I want yo to ask yourself this question, "Were the alterations for the better or for worse?"
The KJV is in GOLD and the NIV is in GREEN.
14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
14:12 How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! .
The NIV took the name of Jesus, MORNING STAR and gave it to His enermy Satan. The verse below is taken from the proper version.
The KJV in Revelation 22:16 reads, "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star".
The NIV gives the impression that it was Jesus who fell from heaven because it does not even mention the name Satan or Lucifer.
18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
18:11 (The Verse was deleted).
To delete this important verse 18:11 from the Bible, is to refuse the very reason of Christ's mission on earth.
17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
17:21 (The Verse was deleted).
To delete this important verse 17:21 from the Bible, is to refuse prayer and fasting.
5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
5:22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.
Verse 5:22 now has a different meaning. It says, if you are angry with your brother you will be subject to judgment. The words WITHOUT CAUSE were removed. Now you cannot be angry for any reason because you will be subject to judgment.
5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
5:44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
The spirit of forgiving our enermies in verse 5:44 was removed when these words were deleted, "bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you," and "which despitefully use you"
6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
6:13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
In verse 6:13 the words of recognition that the kingdom belongs to our God were removed " For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. "
23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
23:14 (The Verse was deleted).
In verse 23:14 the words for recognizing hypocrites were removed.
27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
27:35 When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
The verse 27:35 was half quoted, the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy in PSALMS 22:18 was deleted "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots". It is as if what happened to Christ was not predicted in the Bible.
24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
24:3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" .
In verse 24:3 the end of THE WORLD and the end of THE AGE, are to different things.(The world people believe this world is divided into different ages, eg THE NEW AGE MOVEMENT) Jesus was talking of the END of THE WORLD not, THE AGE. The NIV incorporated this belief in the BIBLE.
19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except [it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
19:9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery."
In verse 19:9 the person who marries a divorced person is not mentioned in the NIV as also committing adultery.
19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
19:17"Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments."
In verse 19:17 Jesus was not asked about what was good, but was himself called, GOOD MASTER. Jesus mentioned GOD as the only one who is good. Jesus did not leave the one who asked guessing who was good.
20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
20:16"So the last will be first, and the first will be last."
Verse 20:16 defeats the purpose of salvation as in John 3:16, that God loved the world and gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but [it shall be given to them] for whom it is prepared of my Father.
20:23 Jesus said to them, "You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father."
In verse 20:23 the NIV left one of the most important requirements mentioned by Christ "and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with:"
8:26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell [it] to any in the town.
8:26 Jesus sent him home, saying, "Don't go into the village."
In verse 8:26 one of the instructions given by Christ was deleted which says, "nor tell [it] to any in the town."
9:44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
9:44 ( Verses deleted)
Verse 9:44 describes hell fire and was deleted.
9:45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
9:45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell.
Verse 9:45 was not quoted in full leaving the last part of the verse. "into the fire that never shall be quenched: "
9:46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
9:46 ( Verses deleted)
Verse 9:46 describes hell fire and was deleted.
10:24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!.
10:24 The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!
In verse 10:24 it does not describe what causes it to be hard. The NIV left these important words "for them that trust in riches "
11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
11:26 (Verses deleted)
Verse 11:26 was completely delete, and yet for us to be forgiven by God we should forgive others.
15:28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.
15:28 (Verses deleted)

9:49 Everyone will be salted with fire
Verse 9:49 is half complete. This part was left out, "and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt."
12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.
12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
Verse 12:30 is half complete. This part was left out, "this [is] the first commandment."
13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
13:14"When you see 'the abomination that causes desolation'standing where it does not belong—let the reader understand—then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Verse 13:14 is half complete. This part was left out," spoken of by Daniel the prophet." We have to know where the desolation was discussed first in the Bible for us to know what "Abomination that causes Desolation" is. The NIV does not give us this important information.
15:3 And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.
15:3 The chief priests accused him of many things.
Verse 15:3 is half complete. This part was left out," but he answered nothing."

1:28 The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."

6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: "for it was founded upon a rock".
6:48 He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
Verse 6:48 had the meaning changed. This important part was changed in the NIV, "for it was founded upon a rock". The Rock is Christ where the house was built, NOT "Because it was well built".
9:10 And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.
9:10 When the apostles returned, they reported to Jesus what they had done. Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida.
Verse 9:10 had the meaning changed. Jesus took His disciples to a desert place of Bethsaida, NOT to a town of Bethsaida.
11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if [he ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Verse 8:43 is half complete. This part was deleted,"which had spent all her living upon physicians."

Verse 9:6 is half complete. This part was deleted," And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord [said] unto him," (NIV does to tell us that Saul repented and asked the Lord what he must do. It is like Jesus commanded Saul to go, against his will)

10:28 But if anyone says to you, "This has been offered in sacrifice," then do not eat it, both for the sake of the man who told you and for conscience' sake.
Verse 10:28 had the meaning changed. (The verse talks of sacrifices to idols NOT, offered in sacrifice. There is nothing wrong when someone offers you out of sacrifice, Christ was sacrificed for our salvation).

9:11 When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation.
Verse 9:11 had the meaning changed. It was, good things to come, NOT, good things that are already here.
9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us] .
9:12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.
.
Verse 9:12 had the meaning changed. (Read topic sanctuary) Heaven is all Holy because God is there. The Bible does not tell us there is a Most Holy place in heaven, except in the earthly sanctuary, Genesis through Revelation. Jesus obtained redemption for US, NOT, for himself.
5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. .

Verse 5:16 had the meaning changed.(We do not confess our sins to human beings but to God. We only confess our faults to the people we wronged but confess our sins to God who forgives sins.) This verse is used to justify people confessing their sins to Priests.
4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

.
Verse 4:3 had the meaning changed. The calls for acknowlegement that Christ comes into out hearts (flesh).

Colossians 1:27 says, "To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
The New King James version Bible was also corrupted. Look at the following verses:-
In this article, we want to share with
God's people some of the important facts which led us to reject the NKJV and
warn others about it. We do not believe that the "NKJV makes the KJV even
better". Our study led us to
conclude that the NKJV vitiates the original, reliable, accurate KJV in a most
deceptive manner. While claiming to have "preserved the authority and accuracy"
of the original KJV, the actual result is a hybrid text which incorporates many
changes identical with or similar to the corruptions found in other modern Bible
versions.
Why the New King James Bible? Some say, it Preserves the Integrity of the Original in the Language of
Today"-"To preserve the authority and accuracy of the original King James
while making it understandable to 20th Century readers"-"To update with regard
to punctuation and grammar; archaic verbs and pronouns"; and "Up-to-date
accuracy with regard to words whose English meaning has changed over a period of
3 1/2 centuries." The completed NKJV text is said to be "Beautifully Clear" and
"Highly Readable." It is also "the" Bible of the present and the future.
It is essential to know that many of the word changes between
the original KJV and the NKJV are not changes which result from removing
archaisms, etc. Instead, many are changes which clearly reveal that, contrary to
their agreed basis, the NKJV translators departed from the original KJV.
The instances in which the NKJV breaks with the original KJV by substituting
wording identical to that of corrupted modern Bible versions are too numerous to
be considered coincidence.
The following references are listed as examples of the way the translators
inserted erroneous words and meanings from corrupted modern Bible versions into
the NKJV text:
Titus 3:10-KJV reads, "A man that is an heretick...reject." NKJV and NIV
change "heretick" to "divisive man"; RSV and NASV to "factious" man. (The one
who holds to heresy is to be rejected, not the one who exposes false doctrine.
The new versions confuse who is in mind here).
Acts 4:27-KJV reads, "Thy holy child, Jesus." NKJV, NASV and RSV change "holy
child" to "holy servant."
Acts 8:9-KJV reads, "bewitched the people." NKJV and NASV change "bewitched"
to "astonished." NIV and RSV change "bewitched" to "amazed."
Romans 1:25-KJV reads, "changed the truth of God into a lie." NKJV, NASV and
NIV read "exchanged the truth of God for the lie" or "a lie."
Romans 4:25-KJV reads, "Who was delivered for our offenses and was raised
again for our justification." NKJV and NASV change "for" to "because of." (Even
the NIV and RSV use the correct word, "for").
2 Corinthians 10:5-KJV reads, "Casting down imaginations." NKJV, NIV and RSV
change "imaginations" to "arguments."
Colossians 3:2
-KJV reads, "Set your affection on things above." NKJV, NASV,
NIV and RSV change "affection" to "mind."
1 Thessalonians 5:22-KJV reads, "Abstain from all appearance of evil." NKJV,
NASV and RSV change "appearance" to "form."
2 Timothy 2:15-KJV reads, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God." NKJV and
NASV change "study" to "be diligent." NIV and RSV change "study" to "do your
best."
Psalm 79:1-the word "heathen" in the KJV is changed to "nations" in the NKJV,
NASV and NIV.
Isaiah 11:3-the entire phrase, "And shall make Him of quick understanding" in
the KJV is eliminated in the NKJV, NASV, NIV and RSV.
Isaiah 66:5-the wonderful phrase, "But He shall appear to your joy" in the
KJV disappears without explanation from NKJV, NASV, NIV and RSV.
Daniel 3:25-the fourth person who was in the fiery furnace with Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, was identified as "the Son of God." The same
identification is given in the text of the NKJV but a footnote reads "or, a son
of the gods," and both NIV and NASV actually have the latter reading in their
texts.
In other Old Testament portions, the word "evil" in the KJV is replaced by
several different words-doom, disaster, calamity, catastrophe, trouble,
adversity, terrible, harm, wild.
In four different places in 1 and 2 Kings,
"sodomites" is changed to "perverted persons."
THE NKJV DOES NOT DESERVE ITS RESPECTED NAME. IT IS A PERVERTED VERSION.
Additional examples of significant changes would include the following:
Matthew 4:24; 6:13; 7:14; 20:20; Mark 4:19; John 14:2; Acts 17:29; Romans 1:18;
Philippians 2:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 1 Timothy 6:5, 10, 20; Hebrews 2:16;
10:14; James 1:15; 1 Peter 1:7.
A striking word change involves changing "corrupt" to "peddling" in 2
Corinthians 2:17. The KJV correctly says, "For we are not as many, which corrupt
the Word of God...."
When this warning was given in the 1st Century, was there any way for people to
peddle (make a gain of) God's Word? Of course not-they were suffering for it.
The warning clearly refers to corrupting God's Word, something that was common
then as it is now. Only in our day has it ever been possible to peddle (make a
gain of) the Bible. With its huge profits from the sale of many different Bible
versions.
The King James version is the only Bible that was written with our salvation in mind and was not corrupted. The other versions are very, very deceptive.
