IS THERE A DIVIDING CURTAIN IN HEAVEN?.

Are there two compartments in the heavenly sanctuary? The answer to this question will give us an understanding that, ATONEMENT for sins was a once and for all event at the cross of calvary, NOT an ongoing process. Our sins were atonened for at the cross, but atonement did not continue until a predetermined date. You might not understand from the onset but you will. We need to seriously understand this program to avoid misunderstanding where we are in God's plan for our salvation. We will start by looking first, at some items and sections in the Sanctuary.

The sanctuary will lead and guide us into an understanding of the prophetic studies as revealed in the books of Daniel and Revelation. The three compartments of the Levitical sanctuary were, namely the Most Holy Place, Holy Place, and Courtyard.

The Sanctuary study, was already presented on this site but for the sake of this study, some of the ideas will be repeated.

Most Holy Place and the Holy place

The Most Holy place was located on the western side of the sunctuary. In it we found the covenant box that had the Ten Commandments and the box was covered by the wings of the two cherubs. There was a curtain separating the Most Holy place from the Holy Place.
In the Holy Place there was a candle stand with seven branches of Candle-sticks. It was situated on the southern side of the Holy Place opposite the Table of Showbread. The Golden Altar of Incense was next to the dividing curtain. The Table of Show-bread was situated on the northern side of the Holy place opposite the candle stand. There was a Courtyard where a Basin of Water was located for priests to wash before carrying out their duties in the holy tabernacle. The Brazen Altar of Burnt offering was situated just inside the entrance gate on the eastern side of the tent of meeting.

Important Selected Sanctuary Functions

Individual sin offerings were transferred from sinner to that innocent male or female goat sacrifices as read in Leviticus 4:27-35 "27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth [somewhat against] any of the commandments of the LORD [concerning things] which ought not to be done, and be guilty; 28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering. 30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put [it] upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn [it] upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him. 32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish. 33 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.

34 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put [it] upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar: 35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him."

The anointed priest would take some of the animal’s blood and smear on the four horns of the Brazen Altar of Burnt sacrifices. The leftover blood would be poured out at the base of the Brazen Altar in the Courtyard.

The community sin offering required a young bull to be killed. The leaders of the congregation would confess the sins of Israel and then take some of the bull’s blood into the Holy Place and sprinkle seven times on the veil/curtain dividing the Holy place from the Most Holy place. He would then turn to the Altar of incense close to him. With the bowel still in his hands, he then dips his fingers into the blood of the innocent bull and then smear some of the blood on the four horns of the Golden Altar of incense.

The process signified sin was transferred from the animal to the four horns of the Golden Altar of incense. Once that was done the community was freed from the sins committed. Sins remained in the sanctuary recorded on either the Golden Altar of Incense or the Brazen Altar of burnt offering until the day of cleansing the sanctuary the 10th day of Tishri (Jewish lunar month) also called the Judgement Day or THE DAY OF ATONEMENT. The cleansing was done once every year and the community of Israel was required to (fast) afflicting their souls on that day. The day was declared a Sabbath unto the Lord.

The sanctuary program was the Plan of salvation already in the process. It was also, an object lesson for us to understand anything to do with forgiving sins and saving souls, be it the time, the procedures on the judgement day, the transfer of recorded sinS from the horns of both altars to the scape goat and finally the scape goat (Satan himself) being carried by a strong man and left alone in the wilderness where it would die alone. This illustrated how God was and will also, deal with sin and Satan at last when saving sinners. (Leviticus 16 )

The Sanctuary Type and the Antitype

The sanctuary object lesson was all about Christ and His ministry of saving the lost human race. Christ’s death had its place in the sanctuary program. He was the Lamb of God that took away the sin of the world.

NOW, when we read the book of Daniel the 9th chapter, Israel was given a probationary period to finish transgression, to put an end to sins and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring an everlasting righteousness and then seal the visions as dipicted in chapter 7 of the same book. Daniel 8 also talks of the little horn power, the king of fierce countenance (The Devil).

Chapter 8: 23 " And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up." God did not want this to happen again provided the conditions were met.

Again Daniel 9:25-27 reads, "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined."

The book of Mark 15:25-26 reads, "25And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. 26And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS."

We all know that Christ died to atone for, or pay for our sins in 30 AD,(Yes it is AD 30 not AD 31) in the middle of the week but unfortunately Israel did not repent and the "end to sin" period ended, making it impossible for the vision of Chapter 7 to be sealed.

Christ died on the cross at the 9th hour according to the Jewish time of the evening sacrifice on the preparation day, commonly known as Friday.

The book of Matthew 27:46 reads, "46And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? 51And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;"

In Luke 23:44-46 we read, "44And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. 46And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost."

Mark 15:33-38 reads, "33And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. 34And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? Which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? 35And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias. 36And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down. 37And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. 38And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom."

We need to understand what God was communicating to His people. God spoke to his people (Israel) by renting the partitioning curtain in twain from the top to button. What did that signify? Some Bible scholars suggest, it signified an end to all animal sacrifices.

This was because Christ the true Lamb of God, whom all animal sacrifices were pointing to had died.

Let me shed some more light to the above statement. This is very important and should be understood.:

(1)The curtain had A LOT TO DO WITH WHY IT DIVIDED , the two compartments in the first place, THAN JUST ENDING ANIMAL SACRIFICES. It was there to protect the broken and offended law from striking the congregation/ church, by the glory of God. The partition had nothing to do with separating of the Holy God and a sinful congregation because God once called the children of srael into His presents.

Exodus 19:10-11 "And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

But,The Curtain was covering The Most Holy place containing the broken covenant, the law of God. This is the universal law of God to mankind.

(2) No blood for sin offering animal killed, was taken behind the curtain into the Most Holy place, through out the Jewish history. The only exception was on the Day of Atonement when Aaron the High Priest had to go before the Shekinah Glory to be found worthy to carry out the proceedings with the blood of the bull. The rest of animals for sin offerings were slaughtered in the courtyard area and burnt on the brazen altar that was situated just inside the entrance area.

(3) The curtain was temporarily put in place, to signify Christ as our go between the angry law and the sinner/church as represented by the seven candle-stand that was located in the Holy place. This also means, when Adam fell, Christ the curtain stood between the offended law and the guilty people (Adam.)

(4) This set up was to be maintained until the year, the day, the hour and moment of the physical death of Christ on the cross of Calvary in year 30AD He paid for our sins. The wages of sin is death. Sin is breaking God’s law. Romans 6:23 we read, "23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

(5) The law demanded blood (life) of the offender unless substituted by God Himself who knows no sin. Now, the perfect blood of Jesus satisfied the demands of the angry law.

(6) We were reconciled to God through the atoning blood of His dear Son, Jesus.

(7) And the scriptures now tell us clearly that we are no longer under condemnation of God’s offended law. (Romans 8:1-3)

In Hebrews 10:18 we read "Now where remission of these [is, there is] no more offering for sin. 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 10:21 And [having] an high priest over the house of God;"

(8) Since Christ did atone or reconciled us to the Father we no longer need the dividing curtain anymore.

Paul to the Corinthians reiterated the same:

In 2 Corinthians 3:14 we read, "But their minds were blinded: for UNTIL THIS DAY REMAINETH THE SAME VEIL untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [VEIL] IS DONE AWAY IN CHRIST."

(9) Hebrews 4:16 reads, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

(10) We can now safely go to the mercy seat by faith under cover of the atoning blood of the one who offered His life to pay for our sins. It is the heavenly sanctuary that was satisfied and no longer needed partitioning by a curtain. The earthly sanctuary signified that when it was torn. The book of Hebrews support this view stating that Christ Himself was the very protective curtain that was torn from top to bottom when he atoned for the broken law of God and died on our behalf. Since Christ did not sin while He was on earth His Father called Him back to life and was given all power by His father both in heaven and on earth.

(11) We were reconciled to God because His son paid the penalty for sin so that whosoever believeth in Him should not die but have eternal life. (John 3:16.)

In other words, Christ died to atone for our sins so that we are reconciled to God through faith in Jesus and his blood.

It is important at this point to read Daniel 9: 24, 27 for analysis.

Verse 24 reads, “Seventy sevens are decreed for your people (Israel) and our holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy (Jesus)." 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."

Daniel 9:26 reads,

"26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: The preceeding verse clearly tells us that Christ atoned for our sins when He died on the cross. This means Christ paid for the demands of the law. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Chist.

Romans 6:23 reads,

"23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. It is important for us as we study to remember that a blessing is pronounced to those who understanding the prophetic book of Revelation. “Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who read it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.”

Revelation 1:3 reads,

"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."

How then shall we study and understand the books of Daniel and Revelation for us to have a better understanding of the story of redemption ?

We should remember what God told Daniel. He said the book was sealed and cannot be understood until the appointed time of the end. (Dan 12: 4,9)

The book will not only be opened for understanding at God’s appointed time of the end, but more so, not everybody will understand the secrets of God. Only the wise in the things of God will be permitted to understand fully.

Dan 12:9,10 "12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand."

TO MAKE THE ABOVE INFORMATION MORE CLEARER:-

Please look at the following questions and responses:

The books of Revelation and Daniel were written under the supervision of Jesus Christ. This was because of the information the two books contains. They deal with the judgment of two groups of people, that is; God’s people (the Christian church) and the people of the world (the Gentiles). God will reveal His truth at the appointed time to His children. The recipients will be chosen depending on their quest for the truth. In other words, the choice is ours to ask God for understanding AND to know what He is revealing to His people.

Daniel 12:10 reads,

"10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand."

God Himself provides wisdom generously to anybody whosoever is interested in knowing Him. Wisdom is readily available to all who lack and ask for it. All what is need, is to ask and it shall be given to you.

James 1:5 reads,

"5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him"

Daniel was interested and he earnestly asked God, “I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord what will the outcome of all this be.?" Dan 2; 8.

Daniel had an interest in understanding the prophecy; God in His love showed him the end time events that would lead to the Second Coming of the Son of Man with the clouds of heaven. God advised Daniel to shut up the book or seal the words of the book until the appointed time of the end when God shall increase knowledge. The prophecy only concerned the appointed time of the end. God sealed the understanding of this book until about the time of cleansing and sanctuary or the judgement of the living (that is the separation of wheat and tares or the sheep from the goats). However, scriptures clearly state, the judgement would start at the end of the 2300days/years (Dan8: 14) that is, after the Ancient of Days (God the Father) takes His own seat at the end of the Dark Ages or the end of the little horn power, papal rule. (Dan7: 21,22)

History confirms that, in the year 1798 in the month of February Pope Pius 6 died while in prison. He was captured by the French General Berthier during Napoleon’s French revolution. This important event marks the end of the little horn persecuting power that backdates from the year 538AD up to the year 1798.

What then was fulfilled in 30 AD when Christ died on the cross? Was it the ending of sanctuary activities so that we would not refer to them again? These are profound questions. when answered within the context of scriptures related to the sanctuary, a broader view of the plan of salvation will be made clear.

The book of Daniel 9:24, 27 says, Israel was allotted 490 years grace or probation period to put her house in order with God. Israel as a nation was to stop transgression, to put an end to sinning. Jesus in response, would reconcile us to God or atone for sin so that at the end, this would finally bring the everlasting righteousness. In the middle of the 70th week the Messiah (Jesus) would be cut off (that is to die),putting an end to animal sacrifices and offerings.

Below is the 70th week of years we should study carefully so that we have a clear picture.

Sunday     Monday    Tuesday    Wednesday     Thursday     Friday     Sabbath
27AD        28 AD        29AD         30 AD              31 AD          32 AD     33 AD

Jesus appeared on the scene and was baptised by John the Baptist in the river Jordan in the year 27AD and was anointed by God’s Spirit, as confirmation that He was the only begotten of the Father. This was the beginning of his earthly appointed mission to do the work of Him who sent Him. DO NOT FORGET we call it the "WEEK" because AD 27 when Christ was baptized, was a "SUNDAY YEAR". He then preached, taught, healed through the power of the Spirit of His father for three and a half years and was finally crucified. The three and half years are tabulated as follows, Sunday = year 27 AD, Monday = year 28 AD, Tuesday = year 29 AD and finally Wednesday = 30 AD, the middle of the week of years and which makes it three and half years only of His ministry on earth. You can see that it was AD 30 middle of the week not AD 31.

The death of Christ on the cross in the middle of the week of years 30 AD marked that Christ the true Lamb of God paid for what the law demanded,(the death of the sinner). Jesus Christ became the atonement sacrifice for our sins once and for all.

It is important to note that the curtain or veil was never to be restored in the earthly sanctuary as its purpose was fulfilled by the death of Christ on the cross.

The veil was torn forever, just as Christ Jesus died once and for all for the remission of sins. Replacing the veil in the sanctuary is a public denial of Christ’s sacrifice for our sins. Now we can go boldly before the throne of grace (Shekinah glory) without fear of being consumed, because Christ paid by his own blood, not by the blood of bulls, sheep and goats. The throne of grace is now approached by faith with the unmerited grace of God.

In Hebrews 9:1-28 we read, "1 Then verily the first [covenant] had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. 2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein [was] the candlestick, and the table, and the showbread; which is called the sanctuary. 3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; 4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein [was] the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. 6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service [of God]. 7 But into the second [went] the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and [for] the errors of the people: 8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: 9 Which [was] a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; 10 [Which stood] only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed [on them] until the time of reformation. 11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us]. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16 For where a testament [is], there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament [is] of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. 18 Whereupon neither the first [testament] was dedicated without blood.

19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20 Saying, This [is] the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 [It was] therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."

Hebrews 10:16-22 reads, "16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them: “17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. 19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”

NOW LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING POINTS:-

If the veil that represented the body of Christ was to remain dividing the Holy and the Most Holy places, then it follows Christ sacrifice had no value to us.It means we are still under the condemnation of the law of God. But Praise be to God, our Father through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who has made our salvation possible by satisfying the demands of His offended law. Because the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1.Q. Does this mean that heaven as it stands now is,less the partitioning curtain?

(A.) According to the scriptures, that is correct. The Bible tells us when Jesus Christ died, the earthly curtain responded and was torn. Hence Paul announces with vigour that the law no longer has power to condemn us anymore. We have been reconciled to God by the death of His Son Jesus Christ. We can now approach the law without fear of being consumed as long as we believe that the blood of the true Lamb of God that was slain cover us. Ephesians 2: 1-10.

2.Q. The Bible teaches that "Unto 2300 days/years the sanctuary shall be cleansed," what does that mean?

(A.) The cleansing of the sanctuary simply means exactly that: Cleaning of the sanctuary. This time it is the cleaning of the heavenly sanctuary from sin transferred by faith to Jesus at our heavenly golden altar of incense.

On the Day of Atonement the appointed High Priest was only required to cleanse the sanctuary for the one-year sins record, placed on the four horns of the golden and brazen altars. The cleansing of the sanctuary is the removal of all sins that have been to Jesus our Saviour by faith and will then be placed on the head of Satan (Escape goat).

Most Bible scholars came to an understanding that the 2300 years prophecy ended in 1844 AD calculating from 457 BC one of the four decrees that were issued by the Persian kings for the Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple of God. Does it mean we are living during the time of the cleansing of the sanctuary since 1844 AD? This is a very important question. The Bible reads as follows:

Daniel 8:14,

"14And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; THEN shall the sanctuary be cleansed."

The curtain that separated the Holy and the Most Holy represented the body of Christ that was torn for the atonement of sin when He died on the cross that Friday in the middle of the week of years at the 9th hour or 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon according to our circular time.

For this reason it follows that, Christ actually finished His atonement work in the Most Holy Place by paying the price of sin. The demands of the offended law were settled so that there is no more condemnation to those who are covered by the blood of the Lamb by faith. In 1844 at the ending of the 2300 years Daniel 8:14 Christ started to cleanse the sanctuary .

Jesus did not enter the Most Holy Place in 1844 because of the following reasons:

1·The work to be done in the Most Holy Place, was completed in the year 30 AD on the 9th hour of that special Friday when Christ paid for our sins by His death on the Cross and said "..IT IS FINISHED..." John 19:30.

2. A short time after Jesus went to heaven Stephen was stoned to death for defending Christianity. He saw Jesus in a vision, standing on the right hand side of the father.

Acts 7:55 "But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God." Jesus was already in the Most Holy place.

Paul in the book of Hebrews 4:14-16 says, "14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

Heaven was already free for all who love Jesus, approximately 1844 years back, before the year 1844.

3·There is no Biblical reference to believe the veil/curtain was restored over the passage of time. Christ died once and for all, that is why the veil was torn in half to expose the most holy place.

4. If there was a veil/curtain in heaven, it would mean the animals sacrificial systems on earth were to continue and still be validated till the year 1844.

5·To restore the veil/curtain is to deny Christ's Sacrifice, as well as denying the Plan of Salvation.

6· The year 1844 marks the end of 2300 day/ years (Daniel 8: 14) Christ started the work of judgement/ restoration/cleansing/re-consecration and not atonement/reconciliation again.

Rev.8:3-5 reads "And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer [it] with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, [which came] with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. 5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast [it] into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake."

Jesus is in the process of removing the records of sin from the sanctuary’s Altar of Incense’s 4 horns in the inner court and conclude the phase by the casting down the censer. Thereafter, He will move to the OUTER COURT, and cleanse or remove all sins that were recorded as the Gentiles were called to come out of Babylon through the loud cry. These are recorded on the 4 horns once again of the brazen alter of burnt offering that represents the Gentiles in the outer court/earth. Jesus our high priest with His Divine authority given to him by His Father will take all the confessed sins as typified by the blood of the Lamb placed on the horns. He will then load them on the head of the Devil called Satan that Old Serpent the Dragon at last who is represented by the escape goat waiting in the courtyard and then later be cast away for one thousand years or as represented by the wilderness where the escape goat will be left dumped alone to die with either by natural causes or eaten by wild carnival animals.

7· No normal person can sweep a dirty room with a broom going towards the direction where there is no door, but towards the door. The door of the sanctuary is on the eastern side of the tabernacle. There it follows that the Lord Jesus satisfied the law by his blood first when He died on the cross to pay/ atone for sin/ reconciling man to God. In other words there is no cleansing without atonement first. FIRSTLY, Jesus satisfied the demands of the law by His blood when he died in AD 30 and SECONDLY he went ahead to do the cleaning or the removal of sin which he started in 1844.

In the earthly sanctuary, the High Priest (Aaron) before he cleansed the sanctuary he began by doing the following:

(1) Firstly, there was an atonement /reconciliation/payment in the Most Holy place, by the blood of the appointed goat that represented Jesus Christ our Redeemer BEFORE He died on the cross 30AD .

(2) Secondly , he would Cleanse the altar of incense where sins were recoded by faith in the Holy place.

(3)Thirdly , he would cleanse the Brazen Altar in the courtyard.

(4) Finally , he placed his hands on the head of escape goat that is, the Devil Satan.

(5) Then, a strong man (representing Jesus) would be required to carry the goat to the wilderness for it to die by natural causes.

(7) No record of sin in the form of blood was ever taken into the Most Holy Place in Jewish history, and therefore no cleaning/cleansing was required.

(8)Two places in the earthly sanctuary recorded sins, the four horns of the altar of incense and four horns of the brazen altar of burnt sacrifice. Therefore only two altars required cleansing.

Summary:

The following points on this study should be noted:-

(A) When Christ cried with a loud voice, “It is finished,” he meant the plan of the salvation for mankind was completed by His own death. The law of God can no longer consume the sinner covered by the blood of Jesus. The sinner can go boldly to the mercy seat and not striked dead by the glory of God.

Hebrew 4:14-16 "Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need"

(B) To have a room with a dividing veil after the death of Christ at the cross is a public denial of his sacrifice.

a. It means after accepting Christ as your savior, you could not approach the mercy seat. The law still condemned the sinner who accepted Christ and his death did not change anything.

b. To leave the curtain dividing the room means, God the father did not accept the sacrifice of His Son. Jesus confirmed this when he told Mary Magdalene not to touch Him because he had not been to the Father.

John 20:16-18 "Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. 17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God. 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and [that] he had spoken these things unto her"

(C) Right now we know the curtain that was torn in twain tells us, payment for sin was done once and for all. The wages of sin to those who will be saved was paid by the Lord Jesus our Savior. The plan is carrying on, on the part of mankind to accept this important sacrifice of God. At the appointed time, God the Father will take His seat and hand over His power to judge the world by His ordained Son Jesus. He will give those who acknowledged Jesus as their savior the gift of life eternal. As a matter of fact this is the phase we are in right now, because we are living when the 2300 day prophecy of Daniel 8:14 expired. This is the time of Judgment, the time of reckoning, the time when the destiny of all humanity is being decided for God or for the devil. When the veil is left in tact we are closing our understanding of what God is doing right now. The curtain ended its closing the holy of holies at the Cross not in 1844. 1844 is behind news.

(D) Christ was represented by the veil temporary placed in the sactuary until he paid for the wages of sin by His own blood. God’s people and the offended law were actually enemies before the cross, but now we are friends by the grace of Jesus. However, since Jesus paid the debt the veil was nolonger needed hence this was depicted when the earthly veil was torn in twain forever as Christ also died once and for all. We now stand behind Christ's blood when approaching the throne.

There is no Biblical evidence that there was a DIVIDING CURTAIN, in heaven for over a thousand, eight hundred years after the death of Jesus. It no longer saved any purpose after the death of Christ on the cross. Christ is now our curtain in heaven, sitting on the right hand side of our father.

2 Corinthians 3:12-16 "Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, [which] put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [veil] is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.

(E) It is my sincere and humble prayer that this study is looked at prayerfully without prejudices. When one has fully understood the study, only then can the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation be understood.

May God bless you and keep you from falling.

AMEN.
