THE THRONE OF GOD

The Ancient Of Days.

[Rev 4:2 "..a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne ].

In Psalms 77: 13 we read "THY WAY, O GOD, IS IN THE SANCTUARY: WHO IS GREAT A GOD AS OUR GOD?"
God's love toward fallen humanity was shown when He sent His Son Jesus to die for us. We read in John 3:16,17,"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Jesus was born on earth to be the savior of man. He is known and he also referred to himself as SON OF MAN.

God the Father is the center of worship where all honour and reverence is directed in the whole universe. Our eternal destiny is decided in His presents. He is the only one referred to as THE ANCIENT OF DAYS and no other.

In Daniel 7:9,10 We read "I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened."

Jesus did not doubt that his father is the true God. In John 17:1- 4 we read, "These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do."

The Father is on the throne:

As we read, Jeremiah 17:12 "A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary." God's throne in His Sanctuary is on the north. David said in Psalms 102:19 "For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;"
In Ezekiel 8:3-5, we read, "And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain. Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry."
Ezekiel was shown a vision of the when the Devil was aspiring to be like the Most High.

We read in Ezekiel 28:12-19 "Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more."

We read in Isaiah 14:12-19, "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; [That] made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

In the Sanctuary, many Bible readers assume the throne of God was where the Ark of the covenant was; in the Most Holy place. The Ark of the Covenant was just as the name implies, "THE ARK OF THE COVENANT" where the Law of God was kept, on the west side of the Sanctuary. It was NOT God's throne. The law was the center of attraction because of sins which were committed. On the day of atonement two goats were chosen. One was for Jesus (for cleansing)and the other was for the devil (to carrry the confessed sins of all Israel to the wilderness); the goat was called Azazel. In heaven Lucifer was on the left side of the throne and the second in charge, AFTER Jesus. But He wanted to seat on the Father's throne towards the North. Jesus was, and is on the right hand side of the Father.
The throne of God was where The Bread of The presence was, on the northen side of the Sanctuary before the candle stick with seven lamps.

Let us read Revelation 4:5, "And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and [there were] seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God."

The Father is the source of Creating power:

InGenesis 1:1,2 the Bible says, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."
As we read John 1:1-4, it says"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

We read in Hebrews 1:1-5, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

The father created the heavens and the earth through Jesus who is the WORD OF GOD.

The Father is the Source of life:

Jesus said in Matthew 6:9 when we pray we should say, "Our father who is in heaven hallowed be thy name" He is the Creator and source of life.
No man has seen God the Father except Jesus. In John 1:18 We read, "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him."

God the Father does not die. We read 1 Timothy 6:13-16, it says, "I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen."

Jesus said, in " John 5:26 "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;"

In 1 Cor15:45 the Bible makes it clear about Jesus' duties. "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit." In other words, he was made a life giver by his father.

Jesus in Luke 4:18,19 filled with THE SPIRIT OF GOD said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

We come to the father through Jesus. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Jesus still says in John 6:57 "As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

The Father is the source of all power:

When Jesus rose from the dead, before he left for heaven spoke to his disciples. In Matthew 28:18, he said "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."
God gave Jesus all power to bring sin and death to an end.

In John 5:22,27,30 Jesus said, "For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 27,And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 30, I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."

In 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 we read, "Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

God gave Jesus all power to put everything under his feet (Jesus) except the father. Then Jesus will give back all power to His father to rule all in all. The Son will also be subject to the Father. The plan of saving lost souls has ended. Praise and glory be to the Father and His Son.

May God be with you always and keep you from falling.

AMEN.
